A Georgia native, Melissa received her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Shorter University in Rome Georgia in 2014. While working as a registered nurse on labor and delivery at Northside Hospital she fell in love with supporting and caring for women during a precious and life-changing time in their lives. This experience inspired her to further her education. She received her Master’s Degree of Nursing and Midwifery from Frontier University in 2021.

Melissa lives in Sandy Springs with her husband, Dakota, and a polish lowland sheepdog Milo. Her hobbies include running, hiking, reading, and exploring the world.
