I was born in the cornfields of Ohio. I graduated from Lourdes University with my BSN, RN in 1996. I witnessed my first childbirth during nursing school. I knew then I was meant to help women. After graduation, I worked in Labor and Delivery for 8 years. When I was pregnant with my second child, I had midwifery care. It was a transformative experience. I decided then to continue my education and become a CNM. I have delivered babies in Ohio, Florida and Georgia.
