Katie was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida.

After completing nursing school at the University of North Florida she began working at a birth center where she developed a passion for labor support and natural childbirth.

She graduated from the Nurse Midwifery program at the University of Florida in 2011 and began working at a busy hospital practice.

Katie and her husband Robert, an oral surgeon with Atlanta Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, live in the Sandy Springs. They welcomed their daughter Reighan in 2019! She joined Obstetrics and Gynecology of Atlanta in July of 2015 where she strives to empower women by partnering with them in their care.
